While the examples are fairly basic, they are just examples of buttons that are used on existing sites, that currently use images to get the required effect. Some advanced effects can be made if using a background image, such as adding a gradient or hi-lighting. I just need to learn Photoshop to play with this and making nice border images.

Whilst these buttons look good for a simple site, they could be a little more professional-looking with using the border-color style.

I’ve started experimenting on using these style features on my site so that I can use the minimal amount of images but still make the site look good – its still WIP though and only works with Firefox 2, but once Opera comes out I’ll move to that to develop on the leading edge :)

I agree with Arjan, and I hope to be able to give a implemented example of a lot of CSS3 styles on my site when its fully working, as that is what I feel is missing on the ‘net at the moment.

Always good such kind of articles, but somewhat simple for people who work with CSS daily… That kind of people (sounds horrible, that kind) just want to see them implemented. What a job, web designer… isn’t it?

Opera is just teasing us lately. I’m starting to salivate! It’s like sitting in a restaurant and smelling your meal cooking…I can’t wait ’til there’s another Opera release.
