I’ve just downloaded the Opera 9.50b on Win XP Pro and the support for HSL colour unit fails.
In Firefox 2.0.0.9 it works fine!
Am I missing something?

I’ve had some issues with IE6 standalones, so I opt for the VM option. As for upgrading and downgrading, that’s far too inconvenient for testing.

Given it’s a PPC Mac, the best you *can* do is a VM. I’ve heard that you can take Microsoft’s images and run them in other VMs besides VirtualPC — so perhaps that’s an option.

If you have XP you have IE6, it’s the base browser.
You can switch back and forth from 6 to 7 as needed by installing/uninstalling IE7 since it’s an upgrade.

No VM needed.

I gather “flavor” is not a colour unit, but a special colour, the value of which is determined by the browser. This colour is intended to match the browser UI; so on Safari, “flavor” might equal the shade of grey used in the toolbar, or the aqua scrollbar blue. On the iPhone, “flavor” might be that greyish-blue colour used everywhere. In Firefox, it might be whichever colour best matches the current UI theme.
