Google have recently updated their HTML5ROCKS site, originally launched in June this year, with numerous new demos and tutorials for HTML5 and CSS3. The latest update adds, amongst other articles, a tutorial for CSS3 Web Fonts (with @font-face) and a new ‘HTML5 Studio’ – offering a number of live demos for many of the new possibilities offered by HTML5 and CSS3.
Since being updated the site has been causing quite a stir online and if you’ve not come across the site before, it’s an excellent resource for getting to grips with HTML5 & CSS3 and certainly worth a visit.

Whilst most of the sites tutorials are, needless to say, HTML5 orientated, a ‘quick guide’ to @font-face was recently added to the site.

I notice they don’t have a demo for flexbox, which even IE9 now supports. Though I can’t find any official documentation on it, the 4th platform preview has support for flexbox with -ms- prefixes.

CSS3 is awesome … i dont have to use images to style rounded corners anymore .. everyone should upgrade and use firefox or chrome instead of annoying IE! =)

It took a long time for browsers to ‘recognize’ CSS originally. I hope they pick up on CSS3 soon. It is going to be awesome. I did not get to the CSS3 part of the presentation. I’ll have to take a look.
